2nd Klang?

People of The First Klang,

What about 2nd Klang Company? Recently, we have received news that a church that is keen to establish a BB youth movement at their own ground. They wanted us to show them what’s BB all about and they’re paying us a visit soon.. It happened that the pastor is a strong fan of BB movement some time ago.. and now they’re prepare to be one of us now! That’s great!

In Kota Kemuning, there’s also a church that has already applying to establish a BB movement and I think we’ll be seeing them in the Selangor council soon..

When I heard about these news.. Well their near to us, at least now we will never walk alone anymore.. Like the Liverpool saying’ "You will nevr walk alone….." haha okok.. cut that part out… Well, I guess we’ll be facing a number of good competition from them and everybody will improve! The most important thing is that, we can see the BB ministry has spread out to impact more youth lives and God’s word.

Well in 6 years time, First Klang will be celebrating its 50th Anniversarry.. some sort of bing bang!! hahah After all we can say that we’re the oldest company in Klang and the first one i guess.. :P rocks! …….. and because we’re sort of the oldest brother.. we have a responsibilty to take care after the new ones rite?

The question is, how can we help these companies to be established like us?

Hi guys. My name is Voon, from 3rd KL Co. Was just going thru this entry.. and you might be interested in some fun facts.

There was a 2nd Klang Company which operated for about 2 years (1989-1991), sponsored by the YMCA in Klang, founded by one by the name of Peter Lim Chong Seng (founder unconfirmed).

It was uncertain how the company closed down, as records during that time were sketchy, but my personal best guess is.. the Klang YMCA closed shop, hence the company also had to cease operating.

Nevertheless, although there is no written rule of how companies are named when established, the name 2nd Klang should be reuseable as the sponsoring authority no longer exist. Unlike cases where a BB company closes down in a church, the Company Number is usually left ‘empty’ or untouched. There is an unwritten tradition here as well where we personally hope that the company will revive someday.

For the case of 2nd Klang, in my opinion, the name can be reused as the sponsoring authority no longer exist. (in this light, companies like 1st KK should’ve just transfered their company number to All Saints instead of renumbering themselves as 3rd KK).

I’d be happy to discuss more about company naming procedures if you’re interested. Add me on msn at ssgt_voon@hotmail.com.

Hope this new company will kick off! =)
