ENROLMENT DAY SERVICE
This is how it begins; it started well and ended well too. The main plan was delayed because of the traffic, which caused the VIP to arrive late. The service started off with the marching in of the colours, which was received by the 1st Klang chaplain and accompanied by our own W.O Peter.

As we entered the church hall, the church members led a great session of praise and worship. After that, a sermon with the theme ‘Making our dreams come true’ was given by Pastor Woo; it was quite boring but luckily there were lots of people who managed to stay awake and listened to his speech.

The marching in of the Colour
Our Captain, Sir Terrence Tan welcomed the guests, parents, church members, and BB member from 2nd Subang Jaya, 1st Petaling Jaya and 4th Petaling Jaya Companies. Mr. Eric Lim, the National Brigade Secretary also gave a speech during this occasion as well as Mr. Tay Book Guan who is the Selangor State Council President.

Then came the highlight of the day where all the 1st Klang members were waiting for, that is ‘PROMOTION’. But before that, two members were discharged due to age limits. They were Cpl Leshvinraj and Sergeant Khoo Hau Wei. Then the promotion from private to NCO was given. There were no promotions for the Form 2’s though. Not to forget about the awards for the best recruit, highest scorer in the target test, and the best NCO whereby the higher ranking you are, the more work you should do.
Following was the Enrolment pledge of the officers of the company followed by the NCOs and finally the rest of the company.

Next was the speech by the discharge members, it seems that Mr Leshvinraj and Mr Khoo Hau Wei had taken their time to tell their story which had bought some time for the dancers to change. The dance proceeded without any disturbance. Then the junior choir, they sang their song without feeling shy. Here comes the 1st Klang band, we keep on practising and eventually improved our band performance.

We received a lot of praises for our band. But we will continue to improve because we are the next generation. We are now one step closer to be the best, may the lord bless us and help us grow.
